We must acknowledge that we live in the world where poverty still exists and where children are living in incredibly deplorable conditions, lacking food, clothing, proper health care and education. Many of these children are orphans with bleak prospects and little or no determination for the future; and many of them could become famous actors, scientists or astronauts if they lived in a better environment. If a child is begging for a piece of bread, there's no doubt that there is something wrong in this world.
At US Poker Tour we believe that it is our mission and our duty to help children that are in need all over the world. "Charity begins at home but it does not stay there." We feel blessed that we have this great opportunity to fund-raise money for the non-profit organization with our and your efforts that can make a difference in childrens' lives.

Helping Hands Inc. was founded in 2003 by Kaushalya Siriwardana. A native of Sri Lanka, Mrs. Siriwardana has worked tirelessly to bring attention to the needs of impoverished children throughout the world. She saw, first hand, the disastrous conditions of poverty and the manner in which it can harm the lives of children who are exposed to it.
Helping Hands Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3, non-religious and non-political organization, which regards children to be our most valuable resource and is dedicated to providing food, shelter, clothing, health care and education to the homeless and orphaned children of the world's most destitute areas.
The mission of Helping Hands Inc. is to champion the causes of innocent children across the globe, empowering them to live lives filled with courage, happiness and determination.
